science experiences for classroom-sized groups. Workshops provide
lively, engaging science activities that are sure to hook science
on science topics.
- $225 for each program*, minimum of 2 workshops per day required.
If workshop requires Portable StarLab, add $75 fee.

in this newly adapted workshop for young learners.

Future chemists explore fizzy, foamy reactions and use the scientific
method to make their own predictions.
Moons & Meteors
This high-impact workshop focuses on meteors and the planets. Students
create their own meteorite collisions and spend time in our planetarium.

This popular hands-on workshop includes dissection of a sheep's
brain and learning how the brain controls body systems.
Poke a Squid
It's squishy, it's slimy, it's squid! Students act as marine biologists,
learning how to dissect and analyze.

Get face-to-face with some of our reptile friends. Students will
have fun exploring the world of reptiles.
Ins and Outs of Digestion
Explore the many mechanical and chemical processes that go into
digestion and make a model of the human digestive system.
Cold Hard Facts
Explore the unique properties of dry ice through interactive, hands-on
experiments. Discover the wonders of liquid nitrogen.
Static Cling
Learn all about electricity, how it works, adn what it has in common
with the socks in your dryer.
Orbital Action
Take a planetary journey in the planetarium, build a planetary model
and learn about the size, scale and orbital paths of planets.
Rocks Rock
Student geologists follow rocks on their journey from formation
to disintegration and back again.

Eye-Eye
Find out how we "see the light" by studying a cow eye.
Students describe the complex functions of the eye while getting
hands-on dissection experience.
Slimy Cephalopod
Students uncover the parts of a squid and their purpose when they
dissect a squid, discovering the amazing similarities to human anatomy.
Reptile Academy
Using the "wheel of survival", students work through catastrophic
events that would lead to extinction of their chosen reptile until
only one group's lucky creature is left.
Stellar Inception
Students journey through the life cycle of a star, from inception
to implosion, and visit the planetarium.
