Becoming
a Volunteer at The Imaginarium!
Planning and Scheduling Your Training

in the fall, winter and spring. The first month of each trimester
(September, January, and May) we will feature a Parent & Child
Info Night. The second month of each trimester (October, February,
and June) the 3 required trainings will be offered. The third and
fourth months will feature optional trainings.

Trainings
The following trainings will help new recruits to gain
specific knowledge and build the skills needed to support The Imaginarium's
public presentations (aka "demonstrations" or "demos").
Through these demonstrations, which are 15-20 minutes in length,
our volunteers and educators share their excitement in the world
around us and spark the curiosity and interest in our visitors,
be they young or old. Let us show you a vast and complex topic and
simplified it into basic principles - you can help others understand
how stuff works too!
