Learning Kits through The Imaginarium

Learning Kits are designed to help you extend the excitement of hands-on science learning beyond The Imaginarium visit. Kits provide materials and equipment for 10 classroom activities that teachers facilitate with their students before and after The Imaginarium programs.

Learning Kits include:

• Six (6) week rental (three (3) weeks pre-visit, three (3) weeks post-visit)
• Special materials and equipment for up to 30 students
• More hands-on opportunities for students
• Reproducible worksheets, lab sheets and other materials
• Detailed instructions for teachers included in every kit
• Correlated to NTSA's Benchmarks for Science Literacy

Learning Kit Fees:

• $80 per kit
• Sites are responsible for return shipping costs and for loss or damage to non-consumable equipment and materials.

Learning Kits are available for three different age ranges (K-2, 3-5, and 6-8). They are available in the following subjects:

• Genetics
• Microbes & Disease
• Reptiles
• Physics
• Marine Life (available in 2006)
• Electricity

One kit for each grade range, on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage kits to be shared among teachers of the same grade levels.
